WSSWA offers an annual membership cycle, September - September. Annual Membership lasts through the following September 1st.
Paid attendance at a conference no longer includes a one year membership. We encourage you to become a member before registering for a conference or event to enjoy the member price.

Networking amongst school social workers and associates
Training, information, and support of your school social work practice
Active collaboration with NASW-WI on behalf of WSSWA to represent our voice within the state legislature and other political arenas
Support for the profession at the state level through work with our professional lobbyist on issues important to school social workers
Representation to the School Social Work Association of America's Governing Board
Professional advocacy at regional and state levels
An annual state conference each Fall and other professional development opportunities
An active voice in the development of educational policy which shapes our profession
Enewsletter that offers professional articles, resource updates on publications and professional workshops and conferences, legislative updates, and highlights from the WSSWA Board of Directors.
WSSWA is a member organization with the Midwest School Social Work Council and the Wisconsin Alliance of Pupil Services Organizations.
Associate membership is extended to those in allied professions and social workers in other settings who are interested in and supportive of this organization’s purpose and functions. Associate membership offers all privileges of membership, including voting, making motions and holding office.
Contributing membership is available to anyone wishing to contribute an extra amount to the association as a donation to further support school social workers in Wisconsin.
Student membership is available to all students in a recognized program of social work study, whether graduate or undergraduate.
Retired membership is available to all retired school social workers.
